The collection of guidelines for laboratory classes covers the subjects of Navigational Instruments course. The authors’ intention is to provide materials to carry out laboratory classes. Before carrying out laboratory exercises the student should get familiarized with the exercise description and recommended literature. During the laboratory exercise student should strictly follow orders given by the laboratory instructor. Each exercise begins with the written test to check participants’ knowledge. A student not prepared for the laboratory cannot participate in the exercise. If the scenario of the exercise requires measurements, the instructor should be notified to verify the outcomes results after the exercise. Each laboratory exercise is completed by handing in a report prepared individually by the student. The report must be checked and accepted by the laboratory instructor.
